What will you learn from this workshop?
During this 3 hour class, I will teach you the basic tools of water pen calligraphy. You will be taught a variety of brushstroke techniques that will be translated into the full alphabet, both upper and lowercase. Each letter will be demonstrated and practiced as I make my way around the room, giving each individual a chance to have one-on-one instructions with me. We will then use your new lettering skills to practice creating words and phrases, giving you the foundation to make beautiful calligraphy for all of your future arts and crafts projects!
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is for creative beginners, eager to learn a new artistic skill. Brush calligraphy is an acquired skill that is different from handwriting, so don't worry love, if you don't like your everyday handwriting, this class is still for you!
What comes with this workshop?
Along with 3 hours of hands-on instructions, you will be provided light refreshments/treats, plus a watercolor calligraphy kit that will be used during class and yours to take home.
